Open Platforms

These are "interactive" websites, i.e. you can upload articles or pictures, discuss, or use them as collaborative workspaces.

  • Indymedia UK's migration page:
    URL: http://indymedia.org.uk/en/topics/migration/
You can publish your reports, pics, films and audio files about actions and everything else that is related to migration issues, without login or password. Contact the publicly archived Indymedia features list if you need any help: imc-uk-features at lists.indymedia.org. Or contact Indymedia UK privately: imc-uk-contact at lists.indymedia.org
  • Make Borders History:
    URL: http://www.makebordershistory.org/workspace/Main_Page
A collaborative workspace for any No Borders group that wants it. This site provides wikis and blogs for noborders groups. Wikis are useful to draft and archive documents collaboratively. Contact startx at plentyfact.org. Just register and off you go.
  • Internet Relay Chat (IRC):
NoBorders have a special room on the Indymedia chat server. You can access the chat either with your own client program, or use the web-based interface in your browser. To use the handy web version, go to https://chat.indymedia.org and join the noborders chan nel. Alternatively, configure your IRC client to connect to irc.indymedia.org using the secure port 994. See IRC HowTo to learn more.
